This Valentine's Day for a limited time only, I am thrilled to announce the release of a special bottling of 2010 Alexana Block 7 Pinot Noir. Crafted from the 2.5 acre Block 7 parcel of the Revana Vineyard, only 90 cases of this exquisite wine were created.

2010 Alexana Pinot Noir Block 7

The 2010 Revana Vineyard Block 7 Pinot Noir is an exclusive small-batch bottling. The 2.5 acre Block 7 is located on the southeastern most section of the Alexana Vineyard and is planted entirely to the Pommard clone of Pinot Noir. Enjoying a southern exposure, Block 7 is comprised predominately of volcanic soil that lends an elegance and depth to the wine. Complex layers of black cherry, blackcurrant and spice are supported by a velvety frame, flirting with rose petal and a touch of tobacco. The lengthy finish is juicy, yet rich and supple with a sense of elegance. Beautiful now, the 2010 Block 7 Pinot Noir will only improve with cellaring.

Vertical (2006 - 2008) of Shea Pinot Noir

In addition to the Block 7 Pinot Noir, we are also pleased to offer a limited selection of our Shea Vineyard Pinot Noir. This vertical of 2006, 2007 and 2008 Shea Pinot Noir is produced from Dick Shea's highly regarded vineyard in the steeply contoured hills of the Yamhill Carlton AVA. Darker in color, the wines showcases deep inky fruit, earth and bittersweet cocoa. With great length on the finish, these wines will age effortlessly for the next ten years.
